Is this cheaper than roaming?
Honestly: not always, so compare before you buy. An EU resident travelling only inside the EU already roams at home rates and may not need this plan at all. It earns its keep the moment an itinerary leaves that zone — the UK, Switzerland, Norway, Türkiye — or when the traveller has no EU contract to begin with, which is every visitor from outside Europe. Look up your carrier's daily roaming rate, then compare: a large bundle valid 30 days costs €45.37 in total.
